Protein Function:
Isomerase that catalyzes the conversion of unstable intermediate of prostaglandin E2 H2 (PGH2) into the more stable prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) form. May also have transactivation activity toward IFN-gamma (IFNG), possibly via an interaction with CEBPB; however, the relevance of transcription activation activity remains unclear.

PTGES2/Gbf1 Mouse mAb (Ab123826) - IP
Immunoprecipitation was performed by incubation of 2.5 µg of PTGES2/Gbf1 Mouse mAb (Ab123826) with HeLa cell lysate containing 200 µg of total protein. After absorption with Protein G beads, the mixture was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. Anti-human PTGES2/Gbf1 Mouse mAb (Ab123826) at 1 µg/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Fc specific) was used as the secondary antibody.
Lane 1: HeLa cell lysate
Lane 2: Human PTGES2 immunoprecipitated from HeLa cell lysate by PTGES2/Gbf1 Mouse mAb (Ab123826)
Lane 3: IgG isotype control antibody instead of PTGES2/Gbf1 Mouse mAb (Ab123826)
in HeLa whole cell lysate.
Result: PTGES2/Gbf1 Mouse mAb (Ab123826) can immunoprecipitate human PTGES2.
