生化机理	整合素α-4/β-1（VLA-4）和α-4/β-7 是纤维粘连蛋白的受体。它们能识别纤维粘连蛋白的替代剪接 CS-1 和 CS-5 区域中的一个或多个结构域。它们也是 VCAM1 的受体。整合素α-4/β-1 可识别 VCAM1 中的 Q-I-D-S 序列。整合素α-4/β-7 也是 MADCAM1 的受体。它能识别 MADCAM1 中的 L-D-T 序列。在活化的内皮细胞上，整合素 VLA-4 触发大多数 VLA-4 阳性白细胞系的同型聚集。它还可能参与细胞溶解性 T 细胞与靶细胞的相互作用。
