稍带粘性液体,有吸湿性和强碱性,可燃,易分解。露置空气中易吸收水份和二氧化碳,溶于水和大多数有机溶剂。低毒,半数致死量(大鼠,经口)3990mg/kg。有刺激性。用于电流终点法的络合滴定铜、锌和镍, 酸性物质的皂化, 合成橡胶和树脂气体提纯脱水剂。也用作添加剂、固化剂、促进剂等。
