生化机理 β-半乳糖苷酶可将乳糖分解为半乳糖和葡萄糖。2-Nitrophenyl β-D-galactopyranoside 水解后会释放出半乳糖和一种黄色显色化合物。该检测底物不依赖于诱导型或组成型渗透酶进入细胞,因此反应迅速,可在 24 小时内发生。经 β-半乳糖苷酶水解后生成半乳糖和原硝基苯酚,呈黄色。
应用 用于检测β-半乳糖苷酶(β-galactosidase)活性,是β-半乳糖苷酶的显色底物。经β-半乳糖苷酶催化后可产生黄色产物,在410-420nm波长可以检测吸光度。

溶于水、甲醇,水中溶解度可达15mg/ml。有吸湿性。 用于检测β-半乳糖苷酶(β-galactosidase)活性,是β-半乳糖苷酶的显色底物。经β-半乳糖苷酶催化后可产生黄色产物,在410-420nm波长可以检测吸光度。

Chromogenic substrate for β-galactosidase 2-Nitrophenyl β-D-galactopyranoside is an enzyme substrate used to detect lacZ activity and hence the presence of β-galactosidase.
