Applications:

The urinary 1- and 3-methylhistidine (1- and 3-MH) metabolites as potential biomarkers of skeletal muscle toxicity. These metabolites were highly correlated to sex-, dose-, and time-dependent development of cerivastatin-induced myotoxicity.
