Recombinant Trypsin
Trypsin is a typical endopeptidase belonging to the serine protease family. Its primary catalytic mechanism involves the specific hydrolysis of peptide bonds at the carboxyl side of basic amino acids (arginine or lysine). In addition, it can cleave amide or ester bonds formed by the carboxyl groups of these amino acids. Owing to its highly efficient protein-degrading activity, trypsin plays an indispensable role in vaccine production and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
I. Classification
Animal-derived trypsin: Traditionally extracted from bovine or porcine pancreas. While the preparation process is well established, it carries the risk of contamination with exogenous pathogens. Historically, viral particles or viral nucleic acids have been detected in various vaccines.
Recombinant Trypsin: Produced via genetic engineering in animal component–free systems, thereby eliminating pathogen-related risks. It offers superior control over purity and enzymatic activity and has become the global standard in the field.

II. Applications:
Cell culture and passaging: Used for detaching adherent cells while preserving cell integrity and viability, supporting large-scale vaccine production.
Viral protein cleavage: For example, cleaving influenza virus HA protein to maintain viral infectivity and replication efficiency; it serves as a critical cofactor in virus cultivation and vaccine manufacturing.
Recombinant protein production: Selective hydrolysis removes contaminating proteins, improving purity and yield, and enhancing downstream purification efficiency.
Ⅲ.Aladdin Recombinant Trypsin
1. High Safety
Source safety: Produced via recombinant technology, free of animal-derived materials, eliminating the risk of viral contamination (e.g., swine influenza virus, porcine parvovirus).
Process safety: Manufactured using specialized preparation processes, free of endogenous viral contamination and devoid of bacterial, fungal, or mycoplasma contamination.
Storage and transport safety: Lyophilized form ensures stability during transport and storage, minimizing activity loss.
Chemical safety: Contains no protease inhibitors (e.g., PMSF).
2. High Purity
Purification method: High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for superior purity.
Activity specificity: Exhibits only trypsin-specific activity, with no other protease activity.
