应用 An inhibitor of NKCC and a GABAA receptor antagonist.Furosemide may also be used as a reference standard in determining the concentration of furosemide present in human urine samples using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Furosemide may be used pharmaceutical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations using diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Furosemide may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by fluorimetry, spectrophotometry and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). These Secondary Standards are qualified as Certified Reference Materials. These are suitable for use in several analytical applications including but not limited to pharma release testing, pharma method development for qualitative and quantitative analyses, food and beverage quality control testing, and other calibration requirements.

Furosemide is a loop diuretic inhibitor of NKCC (Na+/2Cl-/K+) cotransporter. Furosemide acts as a non-competitive antagonist at GABAA receptors with ~ 100-fold greater selectivity for α6-containing receptors than α1-containing receptors.An inhibitor of NKCC and a GABAA receptor antagonist.
