生化机理 Bromocresol green 是一种 pH 敏感的三苯甲烷染料,常用于测定蛋白质和血清中白蛋白的浓度。它是一种生物碱性染料,随着 pH 从 3.0 增加到 7.5,呈现黄绿色至蓝绿色。Bromocresol green 当置于酸性溶液中 (例如 pH=4.15) 时会转变为黄色 (λmax=435 nm,质子化形式),而在碱性溶液中则呈现出蓝色 (λmax=615 nm,去质子化形式)。由此,Bromocresol green 可以作为 pH 指示剂,广泛应用于生化分析领域中。此外,Bromocresol green 也被用来检测肌酐等分子的浓度,以及判断细胞的存活率。
应用 酸碱指示剂。比色测定酸碱度时常用其钠盐。酸碱指示剂,pH值3.8(黄)~5.4(蓝)。其钠盐水溶液用于分光光度法测定pH值的显色剂。用作薄层色谱法测定脂族羟酸和生物碱的试剂及光度法测定季铵阳离子的萃取分离剂。

易溶于醇及稀碱液,微溶于水,不溶于醚及苯;其钠盐能溶于水。内酯型为无色,醌型为砖红色无定型水合物。各文献报告色泽不一。酸碱指示剂。比色测定酸碱度时常用其钠盐。酸碱指示剂,pH值3.8(黄)~5.4(蓝)。其钠盐水溶液用于分光光度法测定pH值的显色剂。用作薄层色谱法测定脂族羟酸和生物碱的试剂及光度法测定季铵阳离子的萃取分离剂。
