生化机理	介导 B 细胞与 B 细胞之间的相互作用。可能参与 B 细胞在淋巴组织中的定位。结合硅烷基化糖蛋白；其中之一是 CD45。优先与α-2,6-连接的硅酸结合。与同一细胞表面的硅酸顺式相互作用可掩盖硅酸识别位点。免疫反应中配体诱导的酪氨酸磷酸化似乎参与了 B 细胞抗原受体信号传导的调节。通过与 Src 家族酪氨酸激酶的相互作用发挥正向调节作用，也可能通过其 SH2 结构域招募胞质磷酸酶，通过信号分子的去磷酸化阻断信号转导，从而发挥抑制受体的作用。翻译后：Tyr-762、Tyr-807 和 Tyr-822 的磷酸化分别参与与 SYK、GRB2 和 SYK 的结合。Tyr-842 的磷酸化参与与 SYK、PLCG2 和 PIK3R1/PIK3R2 的结合。被 LYN 在酪氨酸残基上磷酸化。
