生化机理	Receptor for TNFSF6/FASLG. The adapter molecule FADD recruits caspase CASP8 to the activated receptor. The resulting death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs CASP8 proteolytic activation which initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases (aspartate-specific cysteine proteases) mediating apoptosis. FAS-mediated apoptosis may have a role in the induction of peripheral tolerance, in the antigen-stimulated suicide of mature T-cells, or both. The secreted isoforms 2 to 6 block apoptosis.

Fas Mouse mAb (Ab169198) - Flow Cytometry
Flow Cytometry analysis of Jurkat cells stained with Fas Mouse mAb (Ab169198) (Red) at 2.5 μg/mL for 1 hour at 4°C. The Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (FITC) (Ab179003) was used as the secondary antibody. Unlabeled sample (Black) was used as a negative control. Mouse IgG1-kappa, anti-E8L (Ab213557) was used as an isotype control (Blue).
