Protein Function
Protein tyrosine-protein phosphatase required for T-cell activation through the antigen receptor. Acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation upon binding to DPP4. The first PTPase domain has enzymatic activity, while the second one seems to affect the substrate specificity of the first one. Upon T-cell activation, recruits and dephosphorylates SKAP1 and FYN.

Flow analysis of CD45 (red line) in Raji cells. Cells were stained with CD45 Mouse mAb (Ab007182) at 0.1 μg/mL for 1 hour at 4°C, and then incubated with Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (FITC) (Ab156254) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 30 minutes at 4°C in the dark. Blue - Isotype control, mouse IgG (Ab170221). Black - Unlabelled control, cells without incubation with primary antibody.
