Application:

1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluorodecyltrichlorosilane is a halogenated compound used for biochemical research. It is applied to movable microparts of microelectromechanical systems , thereby reducing the surface energy and preventing the stickiness. Further, it is used to coat micro- and nano-features on stamps for a nanoimprint lithography. In addition, it is used in the preparation of (1H,1H,2H,2H-heptadecafluorodecyl)trimethoxysilane by reacting with methanol.
