Oligomycin has been shown to inhibit ATP synthase by blocking the ATP5 (mitochondrial F|1|F|0|-ATPase). Doxorubicin-resistant HepG2 cell studies report that oligomycin can inhibit the activity of P-glycoprotein and induce apoptosis. |
