They are non bilayer- forming lipids, present in very minute amounts 18:1 Lyso PG may be used: • for the preparation of liposomes • to determine the effects of phosphoglycerol(PG) and cardiolipin (CL) in F0F1 ATPase c subunit (F0-c) transformation • as an acyl acceptor to determine the substrate specificity of recombinant G0/G1 switch gene 2 (G0S2) for acyl acceptors |
