Cavosonstat (N91115) is an orally active S-nitrosoglutathione reductase (GSNOR) inhibitor. Cavosonstat is a CFTR stabilizer, and can be used for cystic fibrosis research. In Vitro Cavosonstat (N91115), a CFTR modulator, promotes cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) maturation and plasma membrane stability, with a mechanism of action complementary to CFTR correctors and potentiators.
