有两种晶体。易吸湿。热至132℃分解。易溶于水、乙醇、甲醇和丙酮,几乎不溶于浓硝酸。低毒,半数致死量(大鼠,经口)3900mg/kg。有氧化性,加热放出氧,遇有机物、硫黄等即发生燃烧和爆炸。 分析上检测硫酸盐和草酸盐,配制基础培养基,电子管(碳酸盐涂覆阴极用)。制造白炽灯罩及其他硝酸盐。
