生化机理	mCherry is a fluorophore (a fluorescent molecule) used in biotechnology as a tracer to follow the flow of fluids, as a marker when tagged to molecules and cells components. mCherry is a monomeric, fluorescent, photostable red dye that was isolated from and further engineered from the Discosoma sea anemone. Its peak fluorescent excitation is at 587 nm and emission 610 nm.

mCherry Mouse mAb (Ab169012) – IF/ICC
IF analysis of 293T cells transfected with a mCherry-DYKDDDDK tag using mCherry Mouse mAb (Red). The cells were fixed and permeabilized with 100% methanol for 5 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were stained with mCherry Mouse mAb (Ab169012) at 1.0 μg/mL in blocking buffer for 2 hour at RT and then incubated with Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (AF647) (Ab181952) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 1 hour at room temperature in the dark. Cells were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Images were taken on the confocal laser scanning microscope.
