| Product Description |
Tris(2-carboxyethyl)-phosphine hydrochloride (TCEP) is a strong reducing agent that is stable in an aqueous solution. It readily and stoichiometrically reduces disulfides with high specificity. TCEP exhibits reducing activity at pH 1.5 to pH 9.0 and reduces dehydroascorbic acid (DHA) at pH 4. Application: Tris(2-carboxyethyl)phosphine hydrochloride has been used:
Water soluble reagent, used for selective reduction of disulfides. More stable than DTT and useful in mass spectrometry applications. |
