Product Description

Application

Used in conjunction with barium hydroxide to deproteinize via barium sulfate precipitation whole blood, plasma, or serum samples which are colored or turbid. The resulting supernatant or filtrate is then available for subsequent analysis of glucose by Somogi-Nelson method.
