The Effect of Polyethylenepolyamine-TiO2 Grafting Carbon Fiber on the Mechanical Properties of PA6 Composite
Functionalized TiO 2 was prepared by a simple impregnation method, and a layer of functionalized modified TiO 2 coating was introduced on the surface of carbon fiber to improve the wettability and activity of the surface of carbon fiber. FTIR and XPS show that polyethylenepolyamine (PEPA) was grafted to the surface of nano TiO 2 successfully. PEPA-TiO 2 grafting can improve the wettability between carbon fiber and polyamide 6 (PA6), and the contact angle of PEPA-TiO 2 grafting carbon fiber is smaller than that of untreated carbon fiber, but the contact angle gradually increases with the increase of PEPA-TiO 2 grafting concentration.
