Study on the adsorption performance of Eu(III) in nitric acid medium by TODGA-C resin
Responding to the need for radioactive waste disposal, the static and dynamic adsorption of Eu 3+ on TODGA-C resin in HNO 3 was investigated. The findings indicated that the adsorption of Eu 3+ on TODGA-C adheres to the quasi-second-order kinetic model. Additionally, the distribution coefficient for Eu 3+ adsorption on TODGA-C reaches 10 5 mL/g in 4 mol/L HNO 3 . Under the conditions of 3.5 mol/L HNO 3 , a flow rate of 3.6 mL/min, and an initial Eu 3+ concentration of 10 mg/L, the Thomas rate constant was found to be 1.2 mL/(mg·min), with a dynamic saturation capacity of 15 mg/mL.
