Pb2+- and Sn2+-Doped (1-Phenylpiperazine)ZnBr4 Single Crystal with Highly Efficient Light Emission
Organic–inorganic metal halides have recently garnered significant interest owing to their excellent photoluminescence performance and high stability. Therefore, a synthetic procedure was designed here to obtain (PPZ)ZnBr 4 (PPZ = 1-phenylpiperazine) nanocrystals (NCs) incorporating Pb 2+ and Sn 2+ ions, obtaining blue and orange light emitters, respectively. Photoluminescence quantum yields of blue and orange emissions were up to 43.2% and 29.9%, respectively, under 365-nm excitation. The prepared NCs also demonstrated long-term stability and humidity resistance. This study not only provided a deep comprehension of low-dimensional perovskites, but also established an avenue for the strategic design of high-performance light-emitting perovskites.
