Fabrication and adsorption properties of hierarchical NaY zeolite with mesopores in the range of 2–5 nm
Adsorption is one of the most effective methods for controlling the concentration of VOCs pollution. In this work, the hierarchical NaY zeolites with size-controlled mesopores in the range of 2–5 nm are obtained via NH 4 HF 2 -etching and surfactant-templating process. By using the different cationic surfactant (C n TAB), we fabricate the surfactant-templated zeolite with controllable mesopores, and improve its adsorption capacity for toluene. In addition, the modified zeolite’s hydrophobicity is enhanced, and it maintains a high adsorption capacity in a complex humid environment.
