Construction of BiOI/BiPO4 photoelectrochemical sensor for glucose detection
BiOI/BiPO 4 photoelectrode was prepared by a two-step electrodeposition method, and the BiOI/BiPO 4 composite material was first applied to the glucose photoelectrochemical (PEC) monitoring platform. The photoelectrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectrophotometer, and photoelectrochemical measurement. The UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectra showed that the BiOI/BiPO 4 nanocomposites had a strong absorption in the visible region. The BiOI/BiPO 4 electrode showed a linear response in the concentration range of 0.1 μM to 10 mM for glucose with a sensitivity of 0.157 μA mM −1 cm −2 , and the detection limit was 0.0499 μM. In addition, the designed BiOI/BiPO 4 PEC sensor has good reproducibility, long-term stability, and selectivity.
