ABSTRACT

Accelerating electron transfer can improve the catalytic performance. MIL-88/Go composites were synthesized by hydrothermal method using the oxygen-containing functional group of graphene oxide (GO) as the MIL-88 unit cell nucleus. Fe 2 O 3 /rGO composites with small particle size were prepared by roasting of MIL-88/GO. It has high degradation efficiency (99%) and good recycling performance for tetracycline hydrochloride (TC-HCl) in photo-Fenton system. The combination of oxygen vacancies produced by roasting MIL-88 and the conductivity of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) improves the rate of electron transfer. The efficient electron transfer promotes the formation of OH and O 2 − and thus improve the catalytic activity.
