Flexible and washable CDs@Eu-MOFs/PVDF multifunctional thin films as highly selective sensing for nitrobenzene and 4-Nitrophenol

ABSTRACT

In this paper, the application of metal organic frameworks (MOFs) doped with carbon dots in fluorescence detection was studied.CDs@Eu-MOF/PVDF thin films were prepared by simple solvothermal method, carbon dots modification and in-situ growth process.The structure and morphology of the film was characterized by XRD, SEM, FT-IR and XPS.The results show that CDs@Eu-MOFs membrane has strong red fluorescence, good stability in methanol solvent, and high selectivity and sensitivity to nitrobenzene and 4-nitrophenol.The CDs@Eu-MOFs/PVDF film material can be used to detect nitrobenzene and 4-nitrophenol in methanol solvent and gaseous state. The detection limits of nitrobenzene and 4-nitrophenol in liquid are 0.2807 mg/L and 0.0168 mg/L, and the detection limits of nitrobenzene and 4-nitrophenol in gaseous state are 0.346 mg/L and 0.0136 mg/L.
