Multilayer rose-like CoS2-MoS2 composites with high microwave absorption performance
Two-dimensional materials formed through self-assembly of transition metal sulfides (TMDs) have shown potential applications for microwave absorption. In this paper, a new and simple strategy was demonstrated to prepare CoS 2 -MoS 2 sulfides binary composites, with a heterogeneous nanoflower structure, by using a self-assembly hydrothermal reaction process. PVP is used as a surfactant to modulate the interface between CoS 2 and MoS 2 , thus enhancing interfacial polarization and creating a unique multilayer rose-like structure. Microwave absorption performance of the samples was calculated according the electromagnetic parameters measured by using the coaxial method. The samples treated under optimized conditions exhibited a reflection loss of −71.56 dB at a thickness of 3.62 mm with an effective absorption bandwidth of 2.56 GHz.
