ABSTRACT

Most of the information storage technologies that rely solely on the luminous signals of specific materials may be cracked and forged. It is always a technical challenge that special “keys” are used to trigger luminescent material for encryption. In this paper, green fluorescent quantum dots (green SQDs) were synthesized by utilizing the corrosion and encapsulation functions of polyethyleneimine (PEI). Green SQDs transform into blue SQDs under the stimulation of H 2 O 2 . Stimulus-responsive characterization of green SQDs was used for highly secure message encryption. This work provides a promising application in the field of high-security information storage for chem-triggered luminescent materials.
