ABSTRACT

The three-dimensional mesh CoS 2 -MoS 2 -CNT composite material with abundant pores was prepared by two-step hydrothermal method as CoS 2 -MoS 2 -CNT functional separator and introduced into lithium-sulfur battery. XRD , XPS and SEM tests of CoS 2 -MoS 2 -CNT proved that the material was successfully prepared, and its morphology was a three-position porous structure composed of interwoven nanotubes and nanosheets . The results of Li 2 S 6 adsorption experiment and visual penetration experiment show that CoS 2 -MoS 2 -CNT composite material has strong adsorption effect on LiPS, and can prevent LiPS from passing through the separator, which effectively inhibits the shuttle effect. CoS 2 -MoS 2 -CNT coating effectively plays the synergistic effect of each component to achieve effective fixation and transformation of LiPS, which solves the shortage of lithium-sulfur batteries. Cells with CoS 2 -MoS 2 -CNT functional separators have a high initial specific capacity (0.2C, 1411 mAh g −1 ), excellent rate performance and excellent cycle stability at large currents (0.13% attenuation per cycle at 2C).
