Application

Drierite ™ (CaSO 4 ) may be employed as drying agent in the following studies: For the removal of water via adsorption during the gas-chromatographic estimation of methanol, ethanol and isopropanol in biological samples. As scrubber for the drying of air. For the drying of nitrile samples during the calorimetric estimation of their enthalpies of vaporization. For the removal of water vapor during the coulometric estimation of carbon dioxide for air pollution monitoring.
