Product Description

Carvacrol is one of the key constituents of basil and thyme essential oils. It is one of the compounds that may be responsible for antioxidant activities of these oils.

Carvacrol, is present in the essential oil of various plants and also taquila. It inhibits the growth of several bacteria strains, e.g. Escherichia coli[, and due to its good taste can be used as a food additive. It also activates PPAR and suppresses COX-2 inflammation.
