3,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,9,10,10-heptafluorodecyl methacrylate is a fluorinated acrylate monomer with methacrylate functional groups. The coatings and materials manufactured using this monomer can achieve excellent waterproofing. It can be used as a surface modifier to alter the properties of different substrates. It can be used to enhance surface lubricity, reduce friction, improve drug release performance, or alter surface energy. Due to its hydrophobicity, thermal stability, chemical and oil resistance, it has been widely used in the fields of coatings, adhesives and surface treatments
