Product Description

1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) is an active gas. It's an antagonist of ethylene. It can combine with the receptor of ethylene in fruits and vegetables, prevent the effect of ethylene on fruits and vegetables, and inhibit a series of physiological reactions such as ripening and decay of fruits and vegetables. Due to the inconvenient transportation, preservation and application of gas, it is necessary to encapsulate it with α - cyclodextrin (α - CD) to prepare sustained-release microcapsules. This kind of microcapsules is 1-methylcyclodextrin / α - cyclodextrin inclusion complex (1-MCP / α - CD).
